Chris and I met in September 2008. Our first encounter was at Shadow Lake, in Indio, California, where we and our mutual friends spent an incredible day wakeboarding and water skiing. It  was love at first splash! We have been inseparable since.

 

            After five years of dating, Chris and I joined family and friends in Park City, Utah, to celebrate the New Year. New Year's Eve 2014 was a day we will never forget! We spent the entire day snowboarding on the gorgeous white slopes. Sometime in the late afternoon, Chris completely stunned me, when he led me to a secluded area on the mountain. Much to my surprise, I was met by a path of rose petals, which led to a beautiful branch heart lying in the snow.  This is where Chris got down on his knees and asked me to marry him!

 

            It was the most romantic and unforgettable moment of my life!
